A Bit About Me
Always learning
Editing provides an opportunity for writers and communicators to sharpen their language and elevate the impact of their work. As a professional Editor, I’m passionate about my job and hold myself to high standards of accuracy, honesty, and fairness. I love spending time with writers and helping turn their original pieces into exceptional articles, stories, and poems while maintaining their unique voice and style.

As a writer, in my fiction and poetry I hope to access some of the universal nature of human relationships and connections. I like to focus on sexual identity and feminist concepts, the interactions we have with ourselves and others, and how we communicate with one another.

My article writing seeks to access all of the above features in a fair and honest way, portraying clear and thorough information as accurately as possible and with the highest standards of journalistic practice.

British Columbia born and New Brunswick bred, Canada has always been and will always be a main feature in my work. I also studied English Literature at the University of New Brunswick, Saint John Campus, and achieved my Master of Letters in English Literary Studies in the University of Aberdeen, UK. However, no matter where I am, Saint John will always be my true home.

On top of my personal editing and writing business, I also copyedit professionally. I helped found Chroma: Pride, Inclusion, Equality Inc. in Saint John and have helped to publish three journals: VOX Student Arts Publication, Fog Lit, and Pieces of Us.
I am pansexual and agender (non-binary, transmasculine). My pronouns are they/he.

I do not use AI in any of my editing or writing work. I strongly recommend against using any kind of AI, especially generative, for any works you intend to have published.
